
The IBA, which has headquarters in London, United Kingdom, was established in 1947. It is recognised as the key global entity for “international legal practitioners, bar associations and law societies”. It works to influence international law reform and shape the “future of the legal profession throughout the world”. It has 80,000 lawyers as members alongside 190 bar associations and law societies in more than 160 countries. Vissensa will support its’ computer infrastructure through a UK-based data centre. This will include introducing local and remote cloud-based backup solutions.
“We felt that Vissensa was very familiar with physical and virtual infrastructure migration, and it was clear that they understood the nature of our business and how a big move such as the one we were contemplating needed a depth of experience, structure and a strong ethos of partnership with the IBA team to ensure the project’s success,” explained the IBA’s IT Development Manager, John Shrives.
